Genome Collection
Genome Collection
Humans are always striving for perfection. Now even genetically! Called the “Genome Collection”, Lucia was inspired by all of the advances in science and technology in the field of genetics. Using the latest softwares in computer aid design and 3d printing, she wanted to aim for perfection as well. Incorporating pearls, which have DNA of their own.

LBM x Basie Minus
Jewelry and eyewear collaboration inspired by “The Shining”. Trying to incorporate its scary/ bloody feel, Lucia created pieces using various techniques and materials. Laser-cut acrylic was the base for the eyewear. Also, printing 3D charms for them to dangle around the eyes and even as legs. For the earrings, she casted vein inspired wax carvings in sterling silver with a touch of red coated copper wire to achieve almost a “vein” look.

LBM x Mariana Alvarez Zubillaga
Jewelry collaboration inspired by “Happy Incompatibility”. In reference to Mariana’s grandparents’
relationship, which were complete
opposites but still thrived. Creating a
mix of miss-matched earrings to
encompass the “opposite” while
keeping the same design language
throughout.

LBM x Estefania Alvarez
LBM x Estefania Alvarez
Jewelry and accessories collaboration inspired by Indian Culture. Fabricated using sterling silver and metal mesh. The shapes used mimic the patterns Estefania found during her trip there. Inspired by not only its physical beauty but its immense faith and culture.

LBM x Juliana Luna

Collaboration with Colombian fashion designer, Juliana. Inspired by her own colombian roots. Variety of earrings and necklaces made out of brass, mainly because of its beautiful color. Wanting to focus on the “form folding” technic for its organic texture. Leaving it as raw as possible.
